Get your tickets now to Atlanta’s Taste of the Nation for No Kid Hungry. The highly anticipated culinary benefit celebrates its 30th year in 2018, and will be held on Thursday, May 3.
The annual event brings together chefs, mixologists and more than 1,500 guests to support Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry. The campaign aims to end childhood hunger in America by providing children with breakfast and teaching families how to cook healthy meals and shop on a budget. According to Share Our Strength one in six children struggles with hunger, including more than 520,000 in Georgia.
New for 2018, Taste of the Nation moves to the Cobb Galleria Centre. As in years past, guests will enjoy signature bites and sips from over 75 Atlanta area restaurants, along with wine tastings, live entertainment and a live and silent auction.
This year’s honorary chairs are producer, author and Food Network host Alton Brown, and Olympic medalist and five-time heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield.
Tickets are $250 for the Grand Tasting, which is from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. If you happen to be a Citi Cardmember you can get 10% off tickets. One hundred percent of proceeds support Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry.
Last year’s event raised more than $795,000 for the campaign and its local beneficiaries.
