You don’t have to be a hotel guest at the St. Regis in order to enjoy one of Atlanta’s most sophisticated wine tasting.
All wine fans are welcome Wednesday evenings at “Tasting Notes,” the Buckhead hotel’s weekly tasting of wine paired with music. Hosted at the Wine Room by Wine Butler and Sommelier Harry Constantinescu, the tasting allows people to explore how wine and music can evoke a frame of mind and influence character.
Tasting Notes costs $20 per person, which includes three wines. The theme and music change weekly. Upcoming themes include refined Rieslings, Portugal’s wines and the lost grapes of Bordeaux.
While at the St. Regis you can also watch the hotel’s daily Champagne sabering ritual, a signature tradition at 6pm to celebrate the arrival of the evening.
If you’re thirsty for more than just a taste, the Wine Room has more than 500 wines available by the bottle and food to perfectly pair with each glass.
