Downtown Atlanta Pop Up Shops

There’s a new reason to pop up in Downtown Atlanta this summer. On Saturday, June 7th, Central Atlanta Progress will launch the Downtown Pop Up Shops, featuring 14 merchants who will be taking over vacant storefronts along Atlanta’s Streetcar route.

Pop Up ShopsThe shops will feature a diverse range of retailers and artists offering clothing, gifts, accessories, pet supplies, shoes, furniture and home accessories, local goods and more throughout the summer.

Central Atlanta Progress coordinated free space for the selected retailers, and received more than 100 applications to fill the empty storefronts. The chosen merchants received a $500 grant from CAP to kick-start their operations, and will have the option of signing a permanent lease at the end of the three months.
