New Dishes at Article 14

The Grilled Octopus is a highlight of the new menu. It is mixed with heirloom tomatoes and a wonderfully tangy vinaigrette.

steamed musselsLast fall the Amateur Gastronomer wrote about Article 14’s delicious seafood dishes, in particular the Steamed Clams. This September it’s Steamed Mussels on the menu. They come in a white wine and garlic broth with tomatoes and grilled bread.

kale saladThe standout salad is the Kale Yeah. Kale ribbons, toasted pine nuts and tart dried cherries are tossed with a warm bacon vinaigrette. It’s an unexpected yet oh so right combination, proving once again that yes, everything is better with bacon.

wild troll caught king salmonRevamped entrées include the Grilled Bavette Steak served with sea salt-roasted marble potatoes and salsa verde, and the Wild Troll Caught King Salmon, which rests on a bed of fava bean and summer truffle risotto.

grilled georgia troutAnother seafood entrée to try is the Grilled Georgia Trout, topped with sauce gribiche and asparagus.

flourless chocolate cakeThe Flourless Chocolate Cake is a decadent end to the meal. It’s served with a large scoop of espresso ice cream and raspberry coulis.

Article 14 serves lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Two hour complimentary valet parking is available in the adjacent garage.
