The winter holidays might be on your mind but I’m already looking forward to the High Museum Atlanta Wine Auction. The 26th annual event will be held March 21 through 24, 2018.
The fete returns to Atlantic Station after two years at the lot at Turner Field. This year’s theme is “The Art of Collecting: The Very Best of Wine, Art and Food.”
This year’s special guests of honor are Tuck and Boo Beckstoffer of Tuck Beckstoffer Estate in the Napa Valley. Boo is originally from Atlanta and the couple have been longtime supporters of the wine auction. Their Hogwash Rosé has a local connection too – years ago Tuck donated a custom made rosé for Chef Linton Hopkins’ whole hog pig roast. It inspired the creation of Hogwash, which has now been enjoyed by wine drinkers for nearly 15 vintages.
The special guest chef is Jonathan Waxman of Brezza Cucina in Atlanta and Adele’s, Barbuto, Bajo Sexto and Jams.
