Swap your glow sticks for forks this August at the first ever Atlanta Food Rave, a high-energy evening of food, cocktails and live music.
The event to be held on the 27th at the 24,000-square-foot Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery will bring together an eclectic mix of the city’s finest culinary talent. Guests will have the chance to mingle with the five featured chefs in a fun and informal atmosphere while sampling their food.
Chefs in the Food Rave will bring together a variety of tastes and styles. The lineup includes:
Chef/Owner Alex Friedman of P’cheen International Bistro & Pub
Executive Chef Delroy Bowen of the Georgia International Convention Center
Executive Chef Keira Moritz of Pacci Ristorante and AltoRex Rooftop Lounge
Executive Chef Lance Gummere of The Shed at Glenwood
Personal Chef/Caterer LaToya Starks of Noorish Personal Chef and Catering Services.
The menu will be revealed at the event, with vegetarian options available. Guests are encouraged to vote for their favorite chef, with the winner earning the 2010 Rave Review award. There will also be a premium open bar with signature alcoholic and non-alcoholic specialty beverages.
A portion of the proceeds from the Atlanta Food Rave will be donated to the Atlanta Community Food Bank, an organization that distributes nearly two million pounds of food and grocery items each month to more than 700 non-profit agencies and 38 counties in the Atlanta area.
